LCG 3015
LCG Laser Cutting System Standard Features
The LCG is a true flying optic laser system — the material
remains stationary as the cutting head moves in all three axes (X, Y
& Z) to process the sheet. This translates into faster overall
production and more accurate parts at higher cutting
speeds. Additionally, the LCG can be fully automated with a
variety of material handling options, designed and built by AMADA, or it
can be equipped with a shuttle table system. The LCG is built to adapt
to the evolving production environment
of manufacturers. The cutting head is propelled by a
high-dynamic motion system that achieves the accelerations and rapid
traverse speeds of some, more expensive linear drive motion systems.
With an advanced 3.5kW CO2 AMADA/Fanuc resonator,
the LCG is a high-end, high-production laser system for the thin to mid-thick material market.
LCG features include:
AMADA/Fanuc 3500i-C resonator specifically designed for the LCG laser, achieving the same cut quality as a higher-powered CO2 machineIncludes an enclosure that surrounds the entire cutting area of the machine with access for part removal.Utilizes a helical rack and pinion drive system for both the
X and Y axis - allowing for higher acceleration and faster rapid
traverse speeds compared to traditional rack and pinioin systemsSectionalized dust collection system that opens only ducts
directly beneath the cutting head for fume extraction, improving dust
collectionAMNC/PC control with touch-screen and intuitive graphics display that easily swivels for operator viewingHigh-speed cutting head with increased sensing speed, lens
burn detection, auto-focus control and auto nozzle cleaning and head
calibration
Amada’s HD NT press
brake series can handle a full range of applications in bend lengths
from 101 to 161 inches. The HD Series features a Hybrid Drive System
that is engineered for high-precision bending repeatability, low energy
consumption, and less maintenance than a conventional hydraulic press
brake.
Amada’s patented variable slit crowning
feature ensures consistent angle accuracy. Larger models are equipped
with an auto-crowning feature that provides precise results based on
calculations create by the AMNC-PC control. Additional features of the
HD 1303 NT include:
High-speed, high-precision bending sensor that eliminates test bends. Increased distance between tooling and greater stroke length provides for a larger processing area. Expanded processing area enables deep box bending. Increased distance between punch and die allows for safe and easy processing of heavy materials. 143-ton capacity122" maximum bend length 18.5" open height(without clamps) 7.87" stroke±.00004" ram repeatability
A wide variety of part geometries can be accurately processed thanks
to a high-precision tapered backgauge. For precise bending control, the
backgauge provides continuously updated feedback to the AMNC-PC NT-based
control where exact positioning can be viewed at any time.
To provide maximum productivity, the HD’s intelligent control
digitizes the bending process and delivers highly efficient offline
programming. Enhanced network functions within the AMNC control allow
operators to call up complete sets of bending data from the server. In
addition, the AMNC control can create 3D images from DXF, DWG, and IGES
files. Programming bending data using 3D images makes programming a more
intuitive process. More importantly, 3D simulation enables the
identification of problems before they can occur.

In summary, Amada’s full line HD series boasts enhanced bending
features for a wide range of applications. This series is engineered to
expand fabricator’s processing range, reduce energy consumption, ensure
angle accuracy, reduce trial bends, improve operability, and bring
digital processing to markets. As a result, the HD NT series is another
example of Amada’s commitment to the ongoing development of new machine
technologies that achieve the highest levels of performance while
reducing operating costs and environmental impact.
